All his life James has stayed in tip-top shape but as he passed the age of 40, he realised the way he was working out needed to change. James has tailored these workouts for the needs of over 40s with slower metabolisms and focusing on problem areas like the lower back, core, and posture due to desk-bound lifestyles.
Fit at 40 + is the result of James’s 30 years of experience with tried and tested workouts for both men and women to keep you fit and healthy and pain-free after 40.
The programme includes:
Warm Up (6 mins)
Core Workout (14 mins)
HIIT Workout (11 mins)
Full Body Workout (28 mins)
Back Stretch (9 mins)

These workouts will spike your heart rate torching body fat while helping build lean muscles. The sessions are designed to fit into the busiest of lifestyles with variations on length for days when you are pushed for time. In my opinion, the 28 minute total body workout alone is worth the price of this DVD. It's gold! Admittedly, I haven't done or even previewed the other workouts. James moves through the weight workout at a very controlled pace that allows for heavy resistance and a lot of flexibility for optional training modes. It would be very easy to lighten the weight and increase the pace for higher reps or pyramid the weights/pace on each round. Because the rest periods between sets are brief, there is a cardio effect as well. No nonsense and thorough. What more could you ask for?

Great workout from credible expert
So pleased to finally find a workout that works for me and is easy to fit into my busy life. I spent a long time looking and was drawn to this over others as it’s really important that the workout is devised by someone with credibility and experience in health and fitness. Also not a bad view which helps the motivation!
