SLEEK TECHNIQUE - Sleek Ballet Box Set

Sleek Technique - Sleek Ballet Box Set consists of 3 DVDs: Sleek Ballet Bootcamp TM, Sleek Barre TechniqueTM & Sleek Ballet Sculpt.

All exclusively designed by professional dancers and founders of Sleek Technique, Victoria Marr, and Flik Swan, to give you a lean, toned ballerina body.

As women with very busy lives, they created these unique programmes to help them keep in prime shape outside of the dance studio.

Now, these targeted choreographed routines are available in this Ballet Body Box Set to help you lose weight, lengthen and tighten your muscles, keeping you in tiptop shape.

Combining the major movements from ballet with fitness firming exercises, these workouts will keep you healthy and trim, giving you the ballerina figure you have always wanted.

Running Time : 180 mins

Sleek Barre Technique: 3 x 20 minute choreographed programmes designed to give you a dancer's physique. A ballet body is strong, sculpted and slender. These muscle-refining routines can be performed at a barre or at a steady chair or kitchen counter. Each segment consists of pliés, port de bras arm positions, leg extensions, stretches and abdominal exercises.

Sleek Ballet Bootcamp: 3 x 20 minute programmes that build in intensity and can be played individually or consecutively. Each Ballet Bootcamp sequence is designed to raise your heart rate and make you sweat, so you burn calories, melt off the pounds and create lean muscle mass.

Sleek Ballet Sculpt: 5 x 10 minute programmes created to target specific areas of the body that we all desire to see firmed up. Everyone wants slender legs, toned thighs, lifted glutes, a flat tummy and good posture. These 10 minute ballet routines will focus the muscle groups in those areas to strengthen and tone your physique, shaping you a Sleek Ballet Body.

The novelty of ballet workout that actually uses ballet.

Yeah, I'm a ballet-based fitness junkie. I've done all the barre workouts you can imagine plus Tracy Anderson and Ballet Beautiful. While I enjoyed the workouts, there was always something amiss. After a while, I noticed that my hips were getting wider and my body looked "boxy". It wasn't until I discovered Sleek Technique that I figured out why. All those other workouts compartmentalized my muscles. That is, I would just work on arms, then abs, then butt, etc. And they focused on accessory muscles, which is good, but to exclude the large calorie burning muscles caused me to gain weight even though I was working out everyday. But Sleek Technique is different. Using real ballet moves and terminology, it incorporates your whole body into every exercise (accessory and major muscle groups). By coordinating my entire musculature to work as a complete package, I immediately saw a difference. Everything slimmed inwards and looked elongated at the same time. I haven't tried streaming videos from their website yet, but after the results I've seen from just their DVDs, I think I might have to invest. These ladies know their stuff and because they use actual ballet technique and posture, there is no awkwardness (like in TA) or momentum over form (like in BB). Really just an incredible workout. Highly recommended.

but I have got to say that I absolutely LOVE this DVD set

I don't do reviews often, but I have got to say that I absolutely LOVE this DVD set. I have plenty of other barre/ballet style workouts and this one is so unique. The time just flew by because it was so fun and different. I am excited to see what type of results I get from this workout. Some of the other barre/ballet workouts that I have tried is Ballet Beautiful, Ballet Body, The Ballet Physique, Barre3, Bar Amphed, Squeeze, Xtend Barre, Element Ballet Conditioning, Tracey Anderson Method, and Pop Physique-as you can see I love anything barre! I definitely think that these will stay in my rotation.
