Prenatal Pilates: Tone & Tighten is the second pregnancy DVD created by Pilates expert, Caroline Sandry, as a follow up to her first release, Prenatal Pilates: Strengthen & Sculpt. 

This programme was designed to keep you in shape throughout your pregnancy and was filmed when Caroline was 8 months pregnant.

 

It has been carefully choreographed to strengthen your muscles which help you carry around the extra weight of your baby, preventing injury, muscle aches and imbalances. As well as helping you through the 9 prenatal months, these exercises will help you through labour and delivery, and will also help your post natal recovery.

Wonderful Workout!

 

This DVD was the perfect workout solution for me in late pregnancy when, after dashing around until that point, I could suddenly hardly walk!

 

However I still really wanted to do a little exercise and so Caroline's chair workout was the perfect solution. I got back into my jeans 3 weeks after a difficult labour and I'm sure I have Pilates to thank for keeping my stomach safely toned.

Another Great DVD by Caroline Sandry

 

I think that the instructor, Caroline Sandry, is brilliant. This is the reason why I purchased this workout DVD. I previously brought her Pregnancy Pilates (Strengthen & Sculpt) workout and loved it so much that I snapped up this one. This DVD is another winner. I love the pace of the exercises and really commend Caroline on her instructions. I am someone who gets easily bored of DVD workouts e.g. music, surroundings and instructor. However, this DVD is not annoying at all and I am really able to relax and unwind as I go through the exercises. I would recommend this DVD to beginner to immediate fitness levels. The workouts are not strenuous but they are effective and great for individuals who are looking to stay supple, strong and fit during their pregnancy. There are even troubleshooting sections that pregnant women commonly have to deal with such as back pain and anxiety.
